Why we skip the names
A famous name can arrive before the traveler does, and then the traveler only confirms a picture they already owned. We would rather you meet pale dunes as dunes — through grit, mint, and the hour when limestone turns peach.
How we edit
Every field note is read twice at the desk: once for accuracy of rhythm, once for tone. We add practical blocks — when to arrive, what to carry, how to leave lightly — because professional travel writing should still help on the ground.
